Event Noise Management
Noise management plans, prediction and live monitoring that keep a festival or concert compliant, and the show on.
Typical timeframe
Plan: 2-3 weeks, monitoring on the day
Coverage
Australia-wide
Who asks for it
Councils and event permit authorities
Overview
Outdoor events and licensed venues need to show how noise will be predicted, controlled and monitored, before, during and after the event. We build noise management plans event organisers can actually run on the night, backed by prediction modelling and, where required, real-time monitoring.
Who this is for
Festival and concert promoters, venue operators and local governments running or approving outdoor entertainment events.
When it is required
Required for event permits and licences, including Regulation 18 and Regulation 19B applications in Western Australia, and for any event with a history of noise complaints.
Our approach
We predict noise levels at the nearest receivers before the event, then monitor live during it so the operator can respond to conditions in real time rather than finding out after the fact.
What you’ll receive
- A noise management plan meeting your permit conditions
- Pre-event noise prediction and limits by receiver
- Real-time monitoring during the event
- A post-event compliance report
