Overview
The Environmental Protection (Noise) Regulations 1997 set assigned noise levels for premises across Western Australia, based on the zoning and use of both the source and the receiving property. They are the framework most environmental noise assessments in WA are measured against.

Any premises, business or development in Western Australia whose noise may reach a neighbouring residential or sensitive property.
When it is relevant
